My name is Cyril Jegou, I am a UI & Digital Designer based in Paris. Passionate about visual experiences of all kinds with great technical skills in both Graphic & Web design, I strive to create stunning designs and innovative user interfaces.
Always challenging my own limits. I hold a deep affection for Products and Interfaces, with a bend towards typography and lay-out.
Mindful Design
I take into consideration the environmental and social impacts of my productions. I advocate for eco-conscious, mindful design approaches that respect our planet and its inhabitants. Being a Digital Producer, integrating eco-design concepts into my work is indispensable. Each phase of the design process from the initial concept to the final execution is guided by environmental awareness. This begins with functional and aesthetic design choices made with the intention to reduce our energy and resource use. Using efficient technologies, minimizing server requests, and compressing files are common practices. Eco-design is not just an approach, it is a consistent commitment to re-evaluate and improve every aspect of my work reducing the environmental impact of the digital products I create.
Beautiful and Useful
I appreciate the visual appeal of a design and its utility. A well-made design, in my opinion, includes aesthetics and functionalism, resulting in a harmony between the Beautiful and the Useful.
Ultimately, design isn't just about the appearance, or even about its function, but it is about the meaning it produces, its empowerment potential. Design is a persistent pursuit of worth. That's why our effort should primarily be devoted to projects that are meaningful and ethical.
